Lightning will be expensive to benefit from the sunder charm as you'll either need to sacrifice a weapon slot for crescent moon, or you'll need expensive end game items eg Infinity and Griffon's Eye to really do any damage with the charm. The obvious easiest choice is cold sorc because once you get that sunder charm, the cold mastery will make you a goddess everywhere. Then, once you get your sunder charm and maybe a few pieces of gear to open it up, you will be able to farm everywhere without worry or care.
You'll be able to farm terror zones where there are no immunities for SOME element so you'll always have some place to farm.
